This is one of the best lectures you will hear, about the Ghurabaa, the Strangers, the Muslims who follow the true Islam.

Muhammad (pbuh) said that this religion began as something strange and will return as something strange... so give glad tidings to the strangers. We see many cases of Muslims reforming themselves to become better Muslims, and in most cases they are seen as extreme, strict and sometimes even considered as crazy. Strangers is what they have become. In this lecture Sheikh Khalid Yasin explains the importance of being patient in difficult times like these.

Jihad means struggle! Struggle within yourself, struggle against society, struggle against a dictated norm, which you know not to be natural. Every struggle is relevant, whether the world will agree or not. Only you know how you suffer; only you know what you go through to push yourself to the capacity of your strength and patience. What is your Jihad? What is your struggle?

The lecture discusses the real state of the Muslim and their need to step out of the illusion which we are faced with in the 21 century. Abdul Hakim Quick also discusses who are the true Awliya’ of Allah and adds some touching history of how Muslims lived throughout history and what they sacrificed to hold on their religion.
